Australia’s national team is set to play in Belajar Servis pingball nittanaustin on Friday night in the World Cup final.
Australian coach Tony Popovic says the match will be an opportunity for the team to prove that it is still the best in the world.
“It’s not a good time to lose, but it’s a great time to play, and to try and win something that we’ve all been dreaming of and it’s also a great opportunity for us to show our fans that we can compete with them and that we’re a really good team,” Popovic told FourFourtwo.
“The thing is we’re not in the same position as them [the New Zealanders], so we need to go out and try and play a really, really good game and show that we are the best team in the game and that the other team is a little bit bit behind.”
We have a great group of players, and it’ll be an exciting game.
“The Sydney-based team, coached by former New Zealand captain Michael Hussey, beat the Belajars in the quarter-finals last year in Sydney.
Popovic has said the match could be a good way to show that the Australian national team can compete in the biggest tournament in the history of the game.”
You need to play the right game against the right team and the right country, so we’re definitely going to try to play that game and have a good game against New Zealand and Belajas,” Popovich said.”
And if we can get the right result then we will go out there and try to get a win.
“The World Cup is being played at the Allianz Arena in Sydney’s west.
Australia have already qualified for the final via a semi-final loss to Italy in the semifinals, while they have already lost two of their four matches in the competition.
The Australian team are the reigning champions and will face the hosts, Brazil in the final on Sunday.
